India is not your everyday sports tour destination, but is superb for cricket and hockey, and offers a myriad of cultural and educational experiences. India is a vast country with a history that goes back to 5000 years. It has immense geographical diversity, rich heritage and culture, festivals and extraordinary attractions that span a sub-continent.

If you would like to visit a completely different culture and ready for a long haul tour, India could be for you.
Sri Lanka, like India, offers a different experience, enabling you to combine fantastic sport with wonderful landscapes, spectacular beaches, a vibrant culture and lots of history. Cricket is the national passion, but there is also hockey and netball on offer.

The country is littered with magificent gems to explore when not playing sport. Columbo is a city of numerous languages and cultures. Dambulla is a modern market town, housing the country's largest cricket stadium that attracts fans from all over the world. Kandy, perhaps the highlight for any visitor, is the cultural hub and the second city, located in the foothills around the banks of a picturesque lake. It is known as 'The Great City'.
The abundance of sightseeing, local culture, climate, and sport, makes Sri Lanka a perfect long haul sports tour destination.
Singapore and Malaysia offer something different again. Singapore is one of the most enjoyable cities in South East Asia. It is ultra modern, has one of the world's best airports, a super efficient road system, and is certainly no traffic snarled Bangkok. The main attractions include Orchard Road, Sentosa Island, and the dozens of beautiful city parks. It is often used as a stop off base for longer tours to Australasia, but it could equally be possible for 4 or 5 days, and is ideally combined with a similar stay in Malaysia.
Hockey, netball, and football are available at all levels and at all standards on a year round basis. Cricket and rugby fixtures are also available but a little more limited in terms of age groups and abilities.
Malaysia has a uniquely diverse heritage. The capital city Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, commercial centre. The beautiful beaches on Penang or down in Malacca are popular holiday destinations and would be included in our itineraries. Like Singapore, with numerous international schools, there are plenty of sports on offer and we can organise competitive fixtures in nearly all of the mainstream team sports. There are also possibilities for community engagement, with numerous charity projects being run.

Typically, all of our Far East tour packages range from 10-14 days, and the best times to travel are Easter and the summer. Winter is also possible. All our packages include return flights, a tour guide throughout, executive coach transfers throughout, sports fixtures and associated costs, water during matches, 3 or 4* Hotel Accommodation with meals, and plenty of activities and cultural excursions.
Prices start from £1,250 per person, an attractive compromise if you want to explore outside of Europe, but don't want the cost or travel times with tours to Australia or New Zealand.
