Ice Cricket World Cup 2012 - Registration Now Open!

After the huge sucess of Ice Cricket in 2011, it's back in 2012 and better than ever. For those of you who need a little introduction to ice cricket let us talk you through the concept in this blog post. Hundreds of people have been to Estonia to experience it because if you're not there, you won't believe how good it is! What?

Every year hundreds of cricketers old and young, good and bad, descend on Estonia's lively capital city, Tallinn to play cricket on a frozen lake or even in an old Soviet missile factory converted into two ice rinks. Teams of 6 players (usually squads of 10 but numbers are flexible) take to the ice. You wear warm clothing and spikes for grip (unless you're feeling brave) and the rules are pretty similar to indoor cricket...

The wicket is marked out on the ice, the boundary marked out to keep confused locals off the pitch and you use an indoor ball, just don’t forget your spikes. It’s a great chance to play social cricket with a difference, in one of the most incredible cities in Europe. At Tours 4 Sport, we work with the Estonian Cricket Association to ensure the smooth running of all our Ice Cricket tours and tournaments so that everyone has a great time in the spirit of cricket.

Who?
Anyone can play Ice Cricket, it doesn't matter how old, how good or how able you are after the night before, the Ice always wins. Ice Cricket is a great tour for cricket clubs of all levels, universities, stag groups, corporate and charity teams. In the past we've had international players, county professionals and semi-pro players, stags, village teams, women's teams and many more groups. It doesn't matter how good you think you are, the Ice will even things out.


How much?

Package 1 - 2 nights in Tallinn - £219 + flights
Package 2 - 3 nights in Tallinn - £259 + flights
Package 3 - 4 nights in Tallinn - £279 + flights
