Loule XV's Rugby Tournament 2012

The Loule Rugby Tournament in the Algarve, Portugal is a great social tournament and ideal way to end the season in the sun with your mates. It is an ideal tournament for clubs at Level 6 and below and is normally limited to 8 teams from the UK, Europe and Portugal, although this may increase in future years. The focus is on social rugby with plenty of activities and entertainment for your group, including a post tournament dinner at the club or local venue. 

2011 was Loule's 25th Anniversary and the tournament was another great success.  Already we have teams confirmed for 2012, including two from Scotland and two from England.  It is set to be another great weekend.


All the fixtures will be held at Loule Rugby Club on a lush grass pitch and the competition format guarantees all teams at least 3 competitive matches of 15 minutes per half.  

Accommodation


We have some suitable tour bases in the Algarve that have great hotels and lively nightlife to suit all tastes including Albufeira, Faro, Vilamoura and Lagos. Don't forget if you want a round or two of golf we can also arrange this for you.  We can also arrange a half day boat cruise including lunch and drinks.

Itinerary


Friday

• Arrive at Faro airport following your flight from the UK. Meet our friendly, bilingual guide who will escort you to your coach, which will transfer you to your accommodation.
• Attend the pre tournament drinks party in the evening.

Saturday

• Coach transfer from the hotel to the ground in preparation for the Loule Tournament.
• Loulé Senior XVs Tournament - a minimum of 3 matches. 
• Post Match Food and Beers
• Return transfer to hotel.
• Free evening in Albufeira

Sunday

• Enjoy a Free day- optional activities include golf, fishing, cruises, waterpark etc.

Monday

• Check out, private coach transfer to Faro airport and depart.

Prices

Loule packages start from £145 per person for a 3 night tour. This price excludes flights. Flights can be booked in one of two ways, you can source your own with the budget airlines or we can book for you. There are a number of airlines flying to Faro from across the UK.
